Born and bred in Maryland, Clayton has spent considerable time honing his craft in the thriving independent film and theater communities in the Maryland- DC- Virginia area.  He has distinguished himself as a strong talent in such films as Be More Films’ “The Maladjusted”, Hard Headed Productions’ “Privacy”, and Strata Teck Studios’ “Heaven Burns” for which he won the award for Best Lead Actor in a Feature film at the 2010 Action On Film Festival. An impressive collection of theater credits include lead roles in “Tape”, “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”, and “American Buffalo”.

A highly perceptive and intelligent artist, Clayton is capable of discovering the nuances within his characters and creates a rich and vivid personality in each role he portrays. Clayton continues to seek out more challenging and complex material to further develop his skills.

Fully committed to the study of his craft, Clayton is pursuing training at various seminars and classes in hopes of finding the institution that will cater most effectively to his growth as an actor. While maintaining his presence in the independent film and theater markets, Clayton hopes to branch out into mainstream film and television and to gain representation.
