PRIVACY Receives Distribution & Set to Screen at Cannes!!!

Official Poster For "Privacy"

It would appear as though the wait is finally coming to an end. Privacy, the indie-feature film shot in the early Summer months of 2011, has officially been picked up for distribution by Camelot Distribution Group. Furthermore, it will be screening at The Cannes International Film Festival in France!

None of this would have been possible without the hard work of the cast and crew, but most importantly in this case, the head producers of Hard Headed Films for pushing this product further.

What Is PONCH!!!?

(From Left to Right) Clayton Myers, Chris Gearhart (Tron), Scott McVicker (Double-T)

In mid 2010, three surviving members of the short lived, short form improv troupe The Pig Farm ( a sister group to the Maryland Ensemble Theatre’s hilarious Comedy Pigs) met for a drink. These players were Scott McVicker A.K.A. Double-T, Clayton Myers and Joe Jalette.
Upon doing so, the three reminisced about the good times they had working with one another and decided to keep the good times rolling. As a result they would meet sporadically to work and play and grow as individual improv players and as a team. As a result, Ponch!!! was unofficially formed.

Since then, Ponch!!! has become a pseudo safe haven for anyone with or without experience, to watch and/or participate in. It’s three original players remain the base pillars of it’s infrastructure, but other players have practiced and will likely perform both with, and in place of original members as time goes on.

Ponch!!!’s Mission Statement – Our main objective as a team is to seek out honest relationships that result in honest scenes. We try to refrain from the easy/obvious laughs. If our characters come across and the relationships shine true, the humor will be reached on a far deeper level. While we appreciate the basic principles of impov, we are still very much in our infancy as a troupe and are enjoying finding our own voice, and our own way. We hope our audiences find equal pleasure in the discoveries we make along the way.
