In late June it was announced that StraTa Tek Studio’s feature film “Heaven Burns” was not only accepted into the Action On Film Festival in Pasadena, California, but was also nominated for four separate awards. These awards were for Best Picture, Best Editing, Best Lead Actress in a Feature Film (Whitney Nielsen), and Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film (Clayton Myers).
On July 29th, “Heaven Burns” own Justin Beckenheimer (Writer, Director, Producer), Charlie Anderson (DP, Producer), Stacie Jones (Producer), Eric Cacioppo (Editor), Whitney Nielsen (Lead Actress), Spencer Garrett (Supporting Actor), and Clayton Myers (Lead Actor) all attended the Black Tie Awards Ceremony at the local Westin Hotel, where Clayton accepted the Award for Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film for his performance in the role of Ryan.
While “Heaven Burns” was not fortunate enough to take home the other three awards it was nominated for, everyone involved in the film unanimously congratulates all of the other winners from that night and extends it’s gratitude to all of the filmmakers who shared they’re works throughout that week. But most of all, “Thanks” goes to Del Weston and all of the wonderful people who helped to make the 2010 Action On Film Festival such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Recently, the Baltimore Examiner’s Mark Beachy wrote an article centered around Clayton’s good friend and colleague,Johnny Alonso (Pictured Below). The article covers Johnny’s basic background, touches onto his current endeavors and explains his over all outlook in regards to the industry he has been working in for over a decade.
Clayton and Johnny have known each other since first working together on Black Ink Film’s “The Passing” which shot back in 2005. And even though the two actors have collaborated on several films since, they had not been cast in roles that allowed them to play opposite one another again until shooting “Safehouse“, a movie in which Johnny plays an ex-FBI agent who can’t stay out of the game named Cooper O’Neil and Clayton portrays the role of Teaberry Jones, Cooper’s freelance tech hand with a twitch.
