Clayton Myers Wraps on “The Process”

In mid February 2011 Clayton shot the short Temple student film “The Process”. The film was written and directed by the talented eye of Ethan Sacchi and is about the extreme measures an artist is willing to go for self assurance when compared to others and the effect of said behavior on the people around them.

Beautiful and talented actor Nishi Rajan helms the lead in this heavy drama as she is surrounded by the supporting talents of Maria Jacinta.

Ben Baker’s “Nothing Left To Do But Die.” is Now Completed

In late Summer of 2010 Clayton had the privilege to reunite with director, Ben Baker on his latest production. The two had first collaborated together in 2009 on Baker’s “Kill Me Or Let Me Go.” in which Clayton played James Earl Bishop. This time around Baker cast Clayton in the role of “The Boxer”, a silent soul whose only confident form of communication is made from his fists. An indentured servant who is about to be freed from his chains only to end up on a twisted road trip as he and his rescuer (the delightful Erin Chaney) are pursued by a poisoned, moon-shine chugging Rookie (played wonderfully by Ryan Klingmeyer).

This wandering road piece screams of Baker’s wonderfully dark and somehow charming neurosis as each turn takes the viewer deeper and deeper into his post-appocolyptic, back wooded world. If such tortured and colorful characters weren’t enough on they’re own, this particular installment into the world of Baker is only added in intensity through it’s various transitions into musical numbers that only amplify the already established view on a clearly eschewed world.

Check back for more information regarding “NLTDBD.” as it is currently being submitted for slots in various film festivals and conventions.
